What is power factor?
It is the ratio of useful power (kW) to the total power your site draws (kVA). Motors, transformers and lighting ballasts pull extra reactive current, which pushes the ratio below 1.
Why does low power factor cost money?
Depending on your tariff, utilities may charge penalties for low power factor, or bill on kVAh, which rises as power factor falls. Correcting it lowers both.
How much can I save?
It depends on your current power factor, tariff and load. We estimate it from your bill before you commit to anything.
How long does installation take?
Most panels are installed and commissioned in a few days after the design is approved. Larger sites take longer.
